Changing the direction of this website !
I was not able to sit and complete the book that I am supposed to be writing. I know “it will never be complete”.
If I take 3 months to write this book, then the next version of WordPress will be released and I might have to rewrite the whole thing [or at least some portions of the book] again.
Also, it would be hard to come up with something that covers every aspect of WordPress. I know I am only proficient on the theme development, but have limited knowledge on things like Plugins and the various hooks WordPress exposes.
Also I have never used WordPress MU [Multi User], it might be hard for me to cover that topic too.
Considering all of the above, I would like to say, this book is not going to be published for now.
So I have decided to take a different direction for this website. Please stay tuned and see where we take it off !
Thanks.

I really like the direction you’ve taken with this Sadish, don’t give up on your book idea though; there are many timeless principles that you have mastered, and have a talent for explaining in a manner that most people understand. I got a book last year, when trying to get started with wordpress, and it was great to reference away from the computer altogether. Something about that really helps you think about things more clearly, then you can go back and apply what you’ve read, and thought about!
The information here, is really very useful, and I for one appreciate it!
Thanks, David
ps… did you change the word category to topics somewhere, for “The Tips” page? I guess I was wondering if this was just a category page.
Thanks David for the encouragement.
Yes I put “topics” in the options > permalinks as a base for the category and then I manually added the link to that category page, in the menu,
Thanks
